Loughborough Male Voice Choir

Len agreed to come with me to Loughborough to see the preparations for the town's Christmas light switch-on.

There were some fairground rides, market stalls, food stall and a big stage and screen. An entire afternoon of entertainment had been planned in association with Fosse 107, the local radio station, but the marketplace was mostly deserted. It did began to fill up at around 3pm when we left having supped lattes in Caffè Nero. In fact, we were lucky to get anything. The café was filling up quickly.

On the screen, you can see the Loughborough Male Voice Choir who sang lustily. We had missed their performance in Queens Park this summer because it rained.

Have discovered a Kase polarising filter at 82 mm. Now to work out how to use the step down rings to enable it to fit a lens of 77mm.

We had our pheasant fillets this evening in a creamy mushroom sauce. Turned out alright. Even the kale which was a bit on the chewy side.
