Mystical Sunrise

Today's blip came about as a result of wakening up as dawn was breaking and deciding the sky was too good to pass by. On 8th June I photographed a glass ornament of a fish against the morning sky. So I decided to use a different glass ornament in the shape of a pyramid.

I used the same set-up with an inverted plant pot to give height and a shiny CDROM as a base. There was a lot of cloud in the sky but the orangy sun was breaking through and adding the necessary contrasting colours to turn it into an interesting picture, with a little help from adjustment of the curves. To emphasise the ethereal look I added an artistic poster edges filter. Day of the druids dawns! Listen to 'Only Time' by Enya.
