Brian's Bits

Three. . .

Again I had to search because, when Alice & I were in Morocco the currency was in Dirhams.
First search - When was it Francs?  "The franc was the currency of French Morocco from 1921.  It became the currency of all Morocco in 1957 and circulated until 1974.  It was divided into 100 centimes"
OK! SO - How old is the Dirham then?  "The word dirham derives from the Greek currency, the drachma.  The Idrissid dirham, a silver coin, was minted in Morocco under the Idrisid dynasty from the 8th to 10th centuries."
AND, as for 1370 it appears to occur in both 1950 & 51; so, logically, 1371 will wrap around '51/'52.

Addendum.  HAD to sneak this in; we three were @ Talkin Tarn and this somewhat Serendipitous Shot was pure accidental luck.
