Day at a Time

Back into Edinburgh for a visit to the wonderful Portrait Gallery. I'm old
enough to remember when It was the Museum of Antiquities complete with a guillotine which I found terrifying. I much prefer its current iteration. The particular exhibition of interest was photography of architecture which I really enjoyed. It's always good for a general wander though and there's a great cafe.

We then walked to Stockbridge and along to the Dean Village ending up in Modern Two for a cup of tea.  Short walk to Haymarket and onto the train home. Flora has been with her friend Lottie the spoodle today which has allowed us to do something different and not singly as is the norm.

Beautiful sunny day but cold.
