EDF

Since the buses are unreliable in the area of the Saclay campus I chose to take the pleasant 30 minute walk into EDF today for day one of the workshop. There weren't many interesting talks today, so I had time to hang out with our developer F and my prospective PhD student Y. I also got to chat with our two EDF contacts.

It was beautifully sunny, so I took a moment outdoors after lunch to get some fresh air. 

This evening I'm eating with Y, F, and his girlfriend S, hopefully celebrating her PhD thesis submission.
