Alone

Although today was a bit more interesting at the conference, I've realised that EDF and the academic organisation that arranged the workshop doesn't look promising for further funding - beyond the €35k that paid F this year. They are too academic for me, and want papers rather than software as output.

At the end of the workshop I said goodbye to F and Y, as F and his girlfriend are out with friends tonight and Y has a dance class, so I'm on my own. Fortunately I have the football to watch and United are up at half time.
