Porthkidney Beach

It was a beautiful bright sunny start to the day and we were leaving our accommodation. We said our goodbyes and all headed out to various destinations on our way back home. We headed to Porthkidney Beach with its sand dunes and lovely flat sand beach. Godrey island was visible in the distance and the tide was a long way out.

We spent 3 hours here enjoying exploring various types of photography before returning to St Uny church where we had parked. We then enjoyed lunch at Birdies bistro a nearby very popular cafe before setting off for home. We have all had a great time in Cornwall and will enjoy seeing each others photos at our next meeting.
