Flores de pascua.

Returned to the garden centre today after Sunday’s aborted trip. I couldn’t understand why it was so busy then, although thinking about it I presume there was a rush on buying poinsettias. Advent begins on Sunday, and at this time of year Spaniards go totally bonkers for those plants, buying many to display on window ledges and in doorways. Having thought this I expected a dearth of them today. Perhaps they’ve just restocked. I admit to buying two medium-sized specimens for either side of the front door. I also got what I’d gone for: small rosemary and lavender plants to remind me of last week’s wedding posy.
