Bridge 2

This is Bathurst Bride, number 2 on the Shropshire Union Canal.

I've photographed all the bridges on the Shroppie between Chester and Nantwich so it made a change to blip one from the Wolverhampton end. It is on the old Birmingham and Liverpool Junction Canal which ran from Autherley to Nantwich where it linked up with the Chester Canal. The two merged in 1845 to form the Shropshire Union Canal. It looks much better large.

I've also included an extra taken from the other side which I really like.
