Smoke on the Water

Today it's the Wide on Wednesday challenge hosted by BobsBlips and the theme for today is anything in Black and White. 

When I looked out of the window and saw some nice light on the valley side over the river and a large plume of smoke rising from a bonfire, I thought that might make a suitable subject. I tend to like high contrast on my mono images so after processing with Silver Efex Pro I added a gradient map in Photoshop to boost the contrast a little.
