More heavy rain during the day. Walked Djeili, had Ergotherapy, then rode Willow for an hour outside without saddle. The little guy is pretty shaken and was shying a lot, which he usually doesn't do. 

The dead horse was still there, waiting to be transported off, with the legs sticking up and in a puddle of blood. Yes, there was a tarp above it, but all the horses were aware of him and the commotion the day before. He did not go quietly. 

I was pretty shaken, too, and cancelled all plans for the day (including the company Christmas dinner). 

During Djeili's evening walk, it had long stopped raining and instead turned to snow. Very beautiful.
