Melting folds of snow

We woke to snow. Didn't see a single flake fall, but about three inches landed overnight, making everywhere look fresh and beautiful. Still cold, but less so than in yesterday's freezing fog. By afternoon, there was a light drizzle and the snow was thawing. Where it had covered our solar panels it melted into folds that occasionally crashed down to the ground, while there was a steady dribble, too. We managed to avoid being underneath the mini avalanches!
