I cooked a roast chicken lunch for the family today. I was quite pleased with the result. While I was basting the roast potatoes Florence found a toy chemistry set  and was busy experimenting with mixtures of olive oil with balsamic; nut oil with wine vinegar and various other combinations. Fortunately we didn't have to try any of them.
