Pill Box

This is a pill box that we used to sell in one of our jewellery shops. Set into its lid is a carved blacklip pearl shell. These oyster shells, Pinctada margaritifera, come from Tahiti. Sometimes they can have a hint of purple to them but this is silver-grey.


I could have done with working a bit longer on the cleaning of it and lighting angles but, time was getting on.


I know of someone today who had to break a long train journey to be taken to A&E because someone in the train carriage sprayed perfume and brought on her asthma. Asthma attacks can kill, please be considerate, dear blippers.
