Foel Rhiwlas

A fabulous walk on Saturday to Foel Rhiwlas from Rhydycroesau. The forecast was for potential snow so we thought we should get on with it. "Getting on with it" for us usually means starting before midday but today it was before 11am which is unheard of.

It was a delight to be up in the hills, the sun kept us company in the frozen landscape for the first few hours but soon you could see the snow over the Berwyn and we had a few flurries on the rest of our walk but it didn't really get going until we got back to the car which was perfect.
