Bergen Revisited!

After the lovely visit we had to Bergen in the summer we had decided to return at some time in the future.  We didn’t take long to decide that that time was now!  It is an extension of our 51st wedding anniversary celebrations, which we enjoyed at the weekend.

It was -6°C when we landed this morning and by lunchtime we were up at the top of the Fløyen!  Same views as we saw in June but yet, of course, they looked quite different.  Took our time to wander around before enjoying lunch up there.

This evening we headed to the Christmas Market and as with our experience in Oslo last year, it is not as extensive or varied as those we’ve experienced in the past in Vienna, Salzburg or Budapest.  Still a gløgg’s as good as a glühwein and is a very welcome winter warmer, slàinte!
