Chilly up north

We road northwards today, up to Broxbourne which is on the way to Hertfordshire. Not surprisingly it got colder as we travelled up from the north circular road. 

Some of the paths were icy and from previous ice crash experience we took great care on the down slopes. After a warming mug of tea and beans with mushrooms on toast we cycled back into the low sun. The pylons aligned with the towpath as we approached Chingford.

In other news, the arts society meeting last night was excellent. We were treated to an enthralling talk by an actor who took us through the whole process of staging a play, from the auditions to first night. Terrific- see extra.
