Abstract Thursday

As usual on the first Thursday of the month, Ingeborg hasn't set any specific abstract challenge today. So I wandered round the house looking for a suitable subject and settled on the raindrops on the side window of the car in the dark - it's parked outside the kitchen window and the light from the window was illuminating the droplets quite well. I tried several shots with different types of intentional camera movement during a slowish shutter and liked this one best.

Now what you've all been waiting for:
Thanks so much to everyone who posted blips for this month’s hosted Silly Saturday challenge in memory of Admirer. My Editor and I had great fun chuckling (or even laughing out loud!) at all the daft or crazy photos and as usual choosing Hearts & HMs was tricky! However in the end we settled on these:

HEARTS (in no particular order):
Santa by gblrps (It seems Santa took the dieting to extremes!)
Caspar Wearing Ear Socks by Teba (I guess if you have big floppy ears you don’t want them getting chilblains!)
Elf Warning by Feather (We all need to take care when closing our car boot at this time of year!)
Me and my Brother by Marlieske (That poor robin is getting a stony look, Lol!)
Luces de Navidad (Christmas Lights) by Annie (Who in their right mind would decorate their longsuffering dogs this way?!)

HONORARY MENTIONS:
(I wanted to list them all, but in the end kept it down to 6 instead of my usual 5)
Balloon Inflation Service by Madwill (Saving his puff!)
High-Rise Santa by Urbandonkey (Hope he has a good head for heights!)
Moneybox by Dollydoug (Some fabulous expressions there!)
Rudolph and Chewbacca by Corinthian  (Who knew that Wookiees also celebrate Christmas, on the planet Kashyyyk?!)
Santa Corks by Happycat (Someone’s been drinking a lot of wine to get all those corks!)
Skateboarding Pooch by AnnieBelle (A good sense of canine balance!)

Next month’s Silly Saturday will be on 6th January, kindly hosted by KangaZu. If you’d like to do the hosting one month then do let me know – it must be the most fun challenge to host! Just pop a note on my blip page or email davidcblipper@gmail.com. Thanks!
