Acts of deliberate notice

Curious cattle

I went to see the dexters on my lunchbreak today. They were all gathered by the top gate, much closer than we normally see them. When I took out my camera to photograph them they were fascinated. They kept shuffling a little closer, and a little closer still, until I could have reached out and touched them.

Then it was as if they'd seen enough. All in a line, they trekked off into the bushes.
