Rebecca picked me up at home then we got kitty from school and Verity from Skipton and had a ride in torrential rain to Manchester to see Ruby dance in her end of term show. This show has choreography created by the the third year students and it was Ruby’s first time doing this. Her theme was Bangcok and she created an avant garde piece with no music and about twenty dancers moved to the sounds of the city.
My favourite was watching her do the can can when the theme was Paris it was exhilarating and exhausting. Her dance  focus has changed to jazz and contemporary but you can still see the ballerina in her.
Afterwards it was a crush to see her so it’s only some quick snaps but very natural.
We left her to go out with her friends to celebrate the show and end of term.
She is home for a month starting tomorrow.
