Fingers crossed she stays upright • Here’s #16 on AV Club’s Top 25 Holiday films: Christmas In Connecticut, 1945, an American romantic comedy starring Barbara Stanwyck, Dennis Morgan, Sydney Greenstreet, SZ Sakall, Reginald Gardiner. Directed by Peter Godfrey. It was remade as a TV movie in 1992 starring Dyan Cannon, Kris Kristopherson, Tony Curtis; Directed by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Best advice is to avoid the remake! • As Uncle Felix would say: Pish-Posh! You’ll have to watch the movie to understand :) • This is one of our favorite films.
