Gentian Embroidery

Wondering what sort of unbreakable Christmas decoration I could use this year, I saw this beautiful embroided Gentian hanging in one of the well-known stores in Lausanne.  There were other embroidered subjects too, but this one was my favourite!

Of course, I will not leave it hanging up when I'm not at home - it is unbreakable, but not claw-proof!  This one is hanging on a semi-circular single bauble holder.

I've added an extra as the colours show up better when I lay it flat.

Today is grey, grey, grey ... and wet, wet, wet!  It is supposedly like this until Thursday!
