Storm Coming

Playing catch up.  This is an image I took on Sunday whilst walking back to the car park from Ness Gap, north of Winterton on the Norfolk coast. We were seal wardening again, and since our last visit in November the seal population has exploded. According to the weekly count there were 3608 adults on the beaches between Horsey and Winterton (about 3 miles) and 3224 pups born in this season! (In case you are wondering, yes there is a team of volunteers who do a weekly count.)

The promised rain did not materialise until we had checked off shift and were walking back to the car park.  This is the approaching storm as we left our wardening position.

Back blipped on Tuesday 12th from Sunday 10 Dec 23.
