Christmas lunch

Today I went belly dancing then we all went to the pub in my village for Christmas lunch. The company and food were great.

This evening I went to the Shropshire Wildlife Trust meeting. In the first half a local poet read some of his poems about wild flowers.  In the second half, a friend of mine gave a talk about the breeding curlews in our area as she's been doing a lot of the monitoring of birds and coordination of volunteers. It's not a happy picture as most chicks are predated despite efforts at protecting them.
