Skye Day 3 - Sligachan and Elgol

Our trip to Skye continues. Today we had the typical Scottish weather with rain, clouds and patches of sunlight in between. We started at the old bridge at Sligachan where we were able to get a few good shots before the rain started. There are two images in the extras.

Completely soaked we returned to Karinya for a change of clothes. Ton could actually do this as well, as his suitcase was delivered by courier.

We returned to Sligachan, but to a different location at Allt Dearg Mor. We were standing at a beautiful waterfall, but the light had other plans for us and made us turn the other way, looking towards the Allt Dearg Cottage.

After a delicious lunch at Cafe Sia in Broadford, we drove to Elgol. With a 15 minute delay near Cill Chriosd because of road works, we arrived there 45 minutes before sunset. That was a bit tight, but we did manage some nice shots there as well!

On the way back we did groceries in Broadford and when we returned to Karinya it was time to relax and do a bit of post processing on today's images. As an example: in the main image of today's blip, I have removed a rather ugly looking shed near the cottage, a utility pole and Herman who was standing between me and the cottage. I used the generative fill functionality in Photoshop with which I am rather impressed!
