Turkey Tail Fungus

I believe that this is Turkey Tail fungus…spotted in the woods on my walk this morning. I liked the stripy folded lobes and the textures on both the fungus and the branch. It looks quite fresh :-)

It was surprisingly warm while I was out. The sun was quite strong, despite us being so close to winter solstice! I had to strip off my hat, scarf and coat and carry them.
