Give That Plant A Calendar

I suspect the flower wont last until the 25th ...and I am not sure the others will open - but we shall see.
We inherited it from SHMBOs mother who got it as a cutting from Margarets (our bridesmaid) mother many, many years ago.

This day in 2009 was not a good day.
Lots of memories have been remembered and a few tears shed.

'THE' tree was brought down from the loft , put up and decorated.
Nearly all the decorations have memories attached of have family associations with Christmases past so it always takes a while to put it all together as we remember and laugh - or just lose ourselves in the memories. Even the tree brings back memories, it was bought in Hayes Garden Centre (well known to some fellow Blippers) about 22 years ago when No1 son was still at university in Ambleside.

What a day for memories.
