Greenfinch in flight.

A leisurely morning, so I spent a while on birds in flight.  For the first time in weeks, there were two greenfinches.  They are naturally cantankerous, particularly between themselves but also with other species as well.  I caught this one trying to intimidate the Great Tit off its perch.

In the evening the village Carol service, quite well attended but I feel Carol services really need a good choir to help the congregation out.  Sadly we have no choir.
