The Calm Before

I considered it an honor when our friend, the host, asked me to be his second, serving as bartendress for his/her 40 person holiday party. Note the house offerings in the hashtags. The huge vat on the stove is brimming with Mexican POZOLE, a hearty soup with hominy and tender pork in a mild red chile sauce, garnished with crunchy fresh toppings. Pozole is often served at holiday parties in the winter months.
