A day at the cricket

Nothing says summer quite like the sound of leather on willow or the pop-pop-pop of a tennis rally. It's been 5 years since Nelson hosted an international cricket match so it was a no brainer to get a ticket for the Black Caps v Bangladesh match, pack a picnic and head on down. An added incentive is that the council are doing some major electrical work near home and the power is off from 9.00am to 4.00 this afternoon so no tv. Fabulous conditions, a spot in the shade under a tree, and a day to simply relax and enjoy.
