This blipping is unpredictable. As a potential blip I photographed some rhubarb from the garden. Not because I had a day of meetings - including one with a prodigious blipper - but because I was chairing my second AGM of the week. Monday's was hospital radio. Today's was the office Gardening and Craft Club. The rhubarb was to be symbolic.

But on my way back to the office I spotted this just completed pavement work: a compass with "Port of Leith" at the centre. It was causing pedestrians to stop and look, though those on the seats had seen all they needed.

So you never quite know what is going to make it as a blip. Which is part of the fun!
