Dental appointments

This is a late posting.

After our very late night last night we were a bit slow to get going this morning, so we had to dash off to catch a bus down to Britomart then change to the Tamaki Link to travel out to St Heliers.  We met two lovely friends from our Auckland Joggers walking pack and the Wednesday night Pigeon Underground at our favourite La Vista restaurant.  MrMacD and I had brunch and our friends a scone and a muffin while we chatted.  It was great to see them and catch up on lots of news.  After we parted company we walked up the hill to EastMed for dental appointments - hygienist and a check up for each of us, plus a filling for me.  The appointments finished we visited my uncle who has now moved into Grace Joel Retirement Village.  He was very pleased to see us and he looked good.  After our visit we caught the Tamaki Link back to Britomart then another bus up the hill.  The four of us went to Galbraith’s Alehouse just around the corner for supper - two fish and chips, two sausages and mash; typical pub grub.  When we got back to the apartment we watched a rather trashy programme on TV before heading to bed.

The blip - two beautiful Hibiscus flowers and a painting inside Galbraith’s Alehouse.

I am way behind with all things Blip.
