Hold the red star proudly high in hand

It's the 21st of December and I've been waiting ages to take this photograph.

For my birthday this year my brother gave me Art of Rush, one of the most amazing coffee table books I've ever seen.  It's printed on heavyweight glossy paper and the photography is luxurious.  It's artist and musician Hugh Syme's journey through and love letter to creating album covers and associated artwork for the Canadian band, Rush.  It's a fitting counterpart indeed to Rush bassist Geddy Lee's Big Beautiful Book of Bass, which shares Art of Rush's LP-sized shape and that extravagant gatefold liner notes experience that albums of yore offered.
