Anything to do with bikes, trains, cats, bees and butterflies, trees, the night sky and engineering, I'm there. I'm also often imagining the what-was-once-but-isn't-anymore, and occasionally I get arty and creative.

These days I mostly use a Nikon D7200, which is a technological tour de force and handles well, but I still really like my old Nikon D40 for its bright and colourful images.  My ad hoc photos are just on my phone but it turns out some good results too.

I've kept a diary since 1996 although I had a gap of a dozen years when I blogged semi-regularly instead, then went back to diarywriting.  I lurked on Blipfoto for about ten years before joining the merry throng.

I'm also known to some as Miss Flum, courtesy of the prolific @flumgummery.
