Wow!

Amazing skies this morning over the village due to nacreous clouds. Usually caused by low sun shining through ice crystals I believe - more often seen in places like Scandinavian and rarely in the UK.  They can also herald a very cold spell of weather, so maybe we will get a white Christmas! After last night's horrendous gales anything could happen!  Sadly the church doorway's greenery was looking a bit battered and some of the nativity scene had been torn down. The force of nature ........
