Mission Accomplished

So the cake seems to have turned out ok. Obviously, the proof of the pudding and all that, but at least it hasn’t fallen apart or been burnt to a crisp! It’s now all wrapped up and stashed away in the cupboard until Monday.

Although, I’m now beginning to worry that Christmas cake needs weeks rather than days to mature. Any experts out there? In the meantime I’ve got my fingers crossed!
