Christmas comes early for the Bendimen

Excitement for the Bendimen!
Don't even need to choose:
"A fine new car for each of us..."
Hang on -- they're baby-shoes!

They're speeding past a landscape
(My father's work of old).
Get out of them, you Bendimen!
But they will not be told.

Oh, well - they're tried and tested.
That much I can't ignore, 
and as babies kick their shoes off
that will be what they're for!

At least Red is looking where he's going in my Extra, which also shows the baby-shoes unoccupied. I finished knitting them yesterday, but saved the photos for today, Silly Saturday. In fond memory of admirer.
