Art walk

These water nymphs are a fountain which I think was in the elmsleigh shopping centre and moved to here, the memorial garden. This sculpture by David Wynne was presented to the town by the queen when she opened the elmsleigh centre.
When it was first sited here there was no fencing around it and the children were able to run freely through the water. Then the health and safety elf visited and a fence was put around it with a locked gate. The fountain is only running for a few weeks in the year too. Such a shame . It is not listed on the official art walk guide for some reason.
