Home for Christmas

Today we went for a Christmas Eve morning walk around Plymouth Hoe and the historic Barbican area. The main shows the fishing fleet tied-up for Christmas. The first extra is Cap'n Jaspers nearby which has become something of a Plymouth Institution. The second extra is a copy of a painting which is displayed on the Hoe. It shows HMS Bellerophon in Plymouth Sound in August 1815. Onboard was Napleon Bonaparte. Local people flocked around the Bellerophon in the hope of getting a glimpse of the great man.
I hope you all have a happy and peaceful Christmas.
