High Tide

The last couple of months have been the wettest I can remember here - and we are used to wet weather.

The fields all around have  patches of standing water and today's high tide where the River Ruel meets the Kyles of Bute was also pressing up onto the shore where sheep would usually graze, driven by a strong south westerly gale.

Colder and somewhat drier weather is in the forecast though, fortunately.
