Cathedral square
Backblipping our trip to Utrecht
Utrecht was one of the northerly points of the Roman Empire and we did a tour of the underground remains of the fort, which was built to keep folk like us barbarian Scots out ;-)
It's more of less the same site that the cathedral and tower were built on. And we chuckled at the idea it was built on the highest point in the landscape... a whole four and a half metres high!
Great tour and a brilliant trip. Such a relaxed, cool city, we loved it.
