Last minute prep

A child-free morning meant, what I think they call a lie-in and a lazy breakfast. 
Unfortunately, we then had a potential last minute disaster to recover from and a trip to Market Drayton's Argos for a replacement present. Disaster averted (and another construction job for tonight) we went to pick up the boys for McDonald's, film night, and Father Christmas preparation of mince pie, gingerbread cookie, and milk, as well as a carrot and sprinkled reindeer food* for Rudolph and the team.
