Golden decay

The (unusual) bright morning sun illuminated the golden remanent of the bracken ,which is now decaying but which will be sprouting again within a few months.   

I was  actually using the drone to pinpoint where a couple of slates on the roof had slipped (amazing how technology can help even the most routine of chores) but of course turned it the other way too - and was rewarded with this view.
