It's Over and an Empty Room

Today we finished the finalisation process for this year's Standard Grade English Exam. All candidates have hopefully been dealt with fairly and , come August , will get the results they deserve.
It is of course a significant point as this is the last Standard Grade English exam as it is being replaced by a new qualification next year. The exam has been part of my summer for 27 years and so today is tinged with a bit of sadness, especially in the knowledge that I will no longer work with a team of people who have been great to know over the years.
