Arbroath Smokies at the Royal Highland Show

We had a good day out as usual at the RHS which seems to be ever expanding. Good food sampling is always to be had in the Food Hall although the previous"Taste of Scotland" tag appears to have been dropped as there are foods from wider afield now on display. It was good though to see some local Stirlingshire businesses represented.
The event also lived up to its Royal billing today as MrsKen 34 spotted Princess Anne.....I was looking the other way and missed her!
After lunch and the not insubstantial purchase of a new set of garden furniture, which was a planned buy, we made our way back to the carpark. Spotted the Arbroath Smokie stand where Ian Spink was cooking smokies over the traditional wood fire.
