Badger Baiting

Last night we watched Man United beat Aston Villa 3-2, after another woeful start. They were 2-0 down at half time and I feared the worst. They looked like a much better team after half time and Garnacho scored 2 goals. Rasmus Hojland scored the third. I've never seen anyone so delighted to be on the score sheet! His first goal in the Premier League!

Another blissfully lazy start to the day. When I did decide to do something and went in the kitchen to wash up, I caused chaos. One of my many lovely Christmas presents included a new gin glass, which pushed the number of glasses owned to one more than can fit into the cupboard.

Not wanting to take no for an answer and accept the situation I tried to make all the washed glasses go away into the cupboard anyway. As one went in it pushed another out and of course it smashed. Some glass landed in Minstrel's litter tray*, so of course the whole thing had to be emptied into the bin.

We had no more litter to refill it with so Brian had to go to buy some in Tesco. It was a proper schemozzle!

Later on we went over to Jeri's for another Christmas celebration and exchange of presents. We played some games Zeph had brought along too.

Paul and especially Jeri were not well, unfortunately. They'd still managed to  create a delicious sweet and savoury buffet with plenty of yummy homemade food despite feeling very under the weather. Jeri pretty much had no voice at all.

We're home now, we have watched some Ted Lasso with Grace and now we are about to hit the hay. Tomorrow the girls will head over to Swindon to spend time with Sophia's Dad and brother. I hope the weather will settle down by then. Currently it is very wet and windy!

Here's a Blip of Brian in the cosy badger onesie I got him for Christmas!

*Just to be clear, the cat litter is not in the kitchen! There wouldn't be room for it - the tray is wider than the floor in there. The glasses are not kept in the kitchen either.
