Boxing Day walk

Yesterday was a lovely day for a walk and Fika was excited to be outside after being couped up over Christmas day.
We walked across the common for a festive drink at the newly refurbished Prince of Wales. There was a time when my son worked there. The improvements are extensive. The outside area has been reworked with a covered patio area and an extended car park. As it is a good place for a pit stop on a country walk, I think we will be visiting again soon.
