New toys

A very wet and windy day.  We entertained our grandchildren who were both happily playing with their new toys although one of the toys that our oldest always comes back to is Playdough.  See extra for our youngest wondering what kind of toy the small camera is and what it will taste like.

After lunch we set off to drive back home.  Not the most pleasant journey as we set off with heavy rain and wind.  Just as we were getting onto the slip road for the motorway that car informed us there were delays on the motorway but we were too late to come off the road.  We took the diversions the sat nav suggested and ended up driving through the centre of Bristol and even over Clifton Suspension Bridge before getting back on the M5.  We returned home early evening a couple of hours later than intended.

We have had a lovely Christmas with family.
