Lopdell House

This morning I walked from the carpark by the end of Exhibition Drive to Titirangi Village. I wanted a different route, and I was able to buy a couple of sourdough baguettes at the small 'supermarket' there. It was a good idea as by late morning there was once again quite heavy rain.

The building in my photo is known as Lopdell House. The ground floor is a large cafe. Upstairs and connecting with the green building is The Upstairs Gallery. Which is where S' mother had two exhibitions of her art. She was about to start planning a third when she died when just short of 100 years old.
