This year's decoration

I have been lucky enough to travel a lot this year but it was only in Mexico in August that I found a Christmas decoration. It's strictly not a Christmas decoration and I can't for the life of me remember the meaning of what it is for. But it is pretty and so I bought it.

Today has consisted of being a gym taxi, standing in queues at two pharmacies, checking in on FiL and packing to go to Norfolk tomorrow. Although we will be later leaving for Norfolk now as I was called by the Lister at 19.20 to offer me an u/s appointment tomorrow at 1.50pm. Clearly a cancellation and hat with waiting lists and up and coming strikes I wasn't about to say no.
